Measurements entered into the tools

The storage size planner calculates in your browser. We don't receive the measurements or checklist choices you enter, and the tools don't save them for a future visit. Don't enter personal information into an item label.

Contacting us

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any other details you choose to include. We use these to answer your enquiry, investigate a correction and keep necessary correspondence. Please send only information relevant to the question.

Our purpose for handling ordinary enquiries is responding to people who contact the site; our intended lawful basis is legitimate interests. Our contact retention policy is up to 12 months after the enquiry is closed, unless there is a separate need to keep a record, such as handling a dispute. You can ask us about a particular message using the address above.

When the contact form is enabled, it collects a name, email address, optional subject and message. Cloudflare provides hosting and bot protection as a service provider. Turnstile checks may process technical request information to assess automated activity; the form is available only when the required protection is configured. Email remains available when it isn't.

Website requests and preferences

Hosting providers process technical request information, such as IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. Cloudflare explains its processing in its linked privacy policy.

We don't load analytics in this version of the site. The cookies page explains the local preference used by the site notice. Following a link to a retailer takes you to its website, where its privacy and cookie policies apply.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, and to object to some processing. Contact us to make a request. You can also raise concerns with the Information Commissioner's Office.
